Shared Solar Advisors is a Minneapolis-based community solar enrollment company helping renters and homeowners subscribe to local solar farms and save 10–15% on electricity without installing panels. The project focused on strengthening the technical SEO foundation while preparing the WordPress and Elementor website for Google and AI-assisted search. Work included a technical audit of homepage and FAQ markup, crawlability review, title tag and meta description optimization, FAQPage JSON-LD implementation, Organization schema for entity recognition, and llms.txt creation to guide AI crawlers toward important content. The audit also identified heavy video assets affecting Core Web Vitals and recommended compression and lazy-loading improvements. Existing conversational FAQ content was preserved and structured for AEO, while GEO and LLMO improvements strengthened brand clarity for Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini. The case study documents implemented foundation fixes and expected long-term visibility gains rather than verified traffic-growth metrics.
